Once selected, the players will attend ‘Camps’
at different locations in British Columbia and Alberta
to develop as a team. The team travels to various locations,
including Kamloops, Kelowna, Salmon Arm, Vancouver, Calgary,
Lethbridge, and Saskatoon for weekend long camps. The
camps consist of classroom sessions, practices, games
and team-building. Because the players are from across
the province they put in an extraordinary effort to attend
the camps. The average travel time for a player last season
was an amazing 6.5 hours one way (as much as 22 hours)!
